Modules
There are six modules in the Capacity Building Certificate Program:
1) Financial Management & Fund Development
2) Governance & Board Development
3) Volunteer Engagement & Human Resources
4) Communications & Outreach
5) Risk Management & Legal Issues
6) Leadership & Organizational Culture
module format
Core Curriculum
Core curriculum materials covering the six capacity priorities will be provided to each participant.
Group Training
During each monthly module, there is one, virtual group training event via Zoom that brings all participants together.
Direct Coaching
Participants will have a chance to have direct capacity training that relates to their specific organizational priorities.
Student Portal
The online student portal provides all the course content and materials, including videos, curriculum, and extra readings.
Reflection
The program offers an opportunity for organizational and personal reflection on key capacity issues facing the nonprofit seector.
Certificate
Upon completion of the six-month program, graduates will receive a Capacity Building Certificate and will have access to ongoing support.
